It takes a lot of energy
to be someone.
It takes no energy
to be yourself.

Linda MCCARTHY

PSYCHOLOGIST – PSYCHOTHERAPIST FSP

Fascinated by psychology from a very young age, I naturally turned to the study of psychology at the University of Freiburg (Switzerland), my hometown. As my studies progressed, my interest and curiosity grew; I became fascinated by the study of psychotherapeutic methods that induce inner changes. I continued my postgraduate studies at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), trained in behavioral and cognitive intervention methods (CBT), specialized in psychotraumatology and obtained the title of psychologist specialized in psychotherapy FSP.

With more than 13 years of experience in the field of psychotherapy and always in search of new effective psychotherapeutic tools, I integrated many methods in my practice such as EMDR, cardiac coherence, EFT 1 and 3, Brainspotting (focused mindfulness), focusing, flash technique, Image Transformation Therapy, etc.

In my journey, I have become more interested in the meaning of life and integrate methods inspired by Eastern philosophies such as mindfulness and the non-dual approach. I have progressively enriched my field of interest and competence to the promotion and development of health in all its aspects in order to accompany not only people wishing to go from -5 to +1 on the well-being scale but also those wishing to go from +1 to +5. I attach great importance in working on myself and to achieve a good balance in my life in order to offer the best of myself to the people I will have the chance to meet along my way. I enjoy meditation, the study of Sanskrit and sacred texts, running, viniyoga and love to take walks in the mountains to recharge my batteries.
